12/13/2001 - Hey all! Have a good day? I did. What constituted this good day? Well, starting today I am actually a day ahead of schedule! (by one day, heh =)
Anyone know what foreshadowing means? Well, today's comic is a good example of it =).
I'll be sure to post an excessively long rant after my last final (Monday; so the rant goes up Tuesday.) Until then, just remember that the police are too stupid to climb the parking lot, even at police level six. Also, the military personel have a whole lot of trouble aiming upwards. When a helicopter comes by, just use one rocket from the rocket launcher. Oops, accidentally slipped from real life to "Grand Theft Auto 3" again.
I do not think that anybody's put up a nice/legitimate way to get the 'tank' yet, so here's a way that my friend and I found:
1. If you can get the rocket launcher, do it, this makes things a lot easier.
2. Go to Ammunation and buy 20 or so grenades and the body armor.
3. Do you know where the parking lot is? Ok, go inside of it and go to the third level.
4. Go near the ramp on the highest portion of the level.
5. If you are in a car, get out.
6. Climb the ramp and face the corner ledge.
7. Try to walk through the ledge (don't overdo it, you want to end up on top of the corner)
8. Ok, start using rockets and grenades to highten your police rating, while staying on top of the building. If you are close enough to the edge, then the police cars keep coming; blow them up.
9. If you have rocket launchers, use them on the helicopters; otherwise, keep moving.
10. When you get to be level six, shoot at the military trucks with your rocket launcher.
11. Eventually, a "Rhino" (tank) will come along. The driver exits the tank in order to aim upwards to shoot you. A grenade or rocket should do him in.
12. If you have any armor left, you are good. Jump off of the building towards the tank.
13. Run to and enter the tank as fast as you can.
14. Try not to get flipped over on the drive to your hideout (not much else to worry about in the tank.)
15. Save =)
That's the method my friend and I came up with. I know that you can enter cheats to get the tank or perform certain tasks, but there is just something BETTER about knowing that you strong-armed the tank from the government.
